Impact Penetration (AATCC 42)
Test measures ability of material to withstand impact from water. Test method measures the weight of water (g) that penetrates material during test. Test results < 4.5 g indicate material may be suitable for applications having potential for impact, with results of <1.0 g offering the greatest protection if impacted.
